I have a PvE barrage r/m. It is ok atm but i have troubles killing healing monsters since i dont sue health draining skills. I was wondering if anyone could help with this.

I use;

1/ Barrage
2/ Orison of healing
3/ Healing breeze
4/ Lighting reflexes or Whirling defence
5/ Run as one
6/ Comfort animal
7/ Resurect
8/ Charm animal

Stats;

Marksmanship-20
Healing prayers-10
Expertise-5
beast mastery- remaining skill points

I think this is wot my points are.

I use this build because of my heros i use help out with it but when i play with friends i need to improve it a little bit.

Post in the Ranger forum for build help.

However..... that build is horrid.

1) Get rid of Healing Prayers skills completely and remove all attribute points from it.
2) Take at least 1 interrupt skills. [savage shot] and [distracting shot] would be what you want. Taking both is definitely possible.
3) If you use Resurrect, make sure there are no more enemies to fight. A Rez with 25% health and no energy means the person will have no use for a while, and will be an easy target for another kill.
4) Raise Expertise a LOT so you can use your skills often.
5) Consider [antidote signet] to deal with Blind and any other conditions that hurt you.
6) If you want to use a pet, put some decent points into Beast Mastery so the pet is rezed with some health if it dies. This also allows it to do some more damage. Bonus is you actually brought both Charm and Comfort.

I agree with MagmaRed, your build is bad. You are a ranger (=ranged fighter) not a healer.

1. Read this thread http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10261054 which is a guide found in the Campfire Ranger subforum.

2. As the guide will explain - concentrate on one type of fighting style at a time.

3. Leave the healing (except for your pet) to the healers, whether they are heroes/hench or real players.

4. Always have your Expertise at 8-9; this is your energy management.

Did you make a typo on your marksmanship attribute? Because i boubt thats right, but iwould suggest dropping all healing prayrs attributes and spells, Run as one is also pretty usless, for the 3 skill slots empty after that i would get some interupts as Magma suggested, and antidote signet helps alot, you will also need more expertise to use Barrage on recharge.

agree with magma and check out the guide darcy gave you, im assuming that this is the early stages of the game, cause that build is rather horrible once you have better access to skills.

He has barrage, so it can't really be an "early stages" build.

Also, your marksmanships is most likely 12, not 20.

Ahh thank you ... i was also wondering that i only have factions and nightfall and i dont know were to get antidote signet:P?
